Sharp was born and raised at home in Rochester (New York) and immersed herself in music. In the Hochstein School of Music, she was a student of clarinet, cello and piano. When she was awarded a scholarship to The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp turned her attention to the stage. Sharp performed in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp made her debut Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. And she played eight roles in the comedy interactive Eat the Runt. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp has other ideas that she is working on, in addition to the work for the stage and screen. Sharp continues to sing and has a full-length album currently in the process of being recorded. Sharp likes to stay fit and stays in great condition by pursuing Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp is a resident of Los Angeles.
